Body shop



Part of Body shops Love your body campaign. Shocking to see an oversized doll which represents the average female size in the uk ( a size 16). However it gets the point accross well and is a successful poster in capturing viewer attention.

  1. really glad I came across this on your blog today, very refreshing campaign appealing to vast audience but on such a personal down-to-earth level. It is relating to a major issue for females within society today but in such a nice way that I feel it would be successful in compounding women to drop into a Body shop store and treat themselves as the tagline suggests 'love your body'. This add has inspired me as I have been considering the implications of food advertising within society and the responsibility of convenience outlets such as Mcdonalds in informing their customers of nutritional information etc. The tone of voice is obviously very warm and 'comfy', using a typeface recognisable from good old fashioned soap box times.
