some of my *fashion* paintings, you may recognise better now where my inspiration for them comes from. Mostly I find I get inspired by fashion advertising, photography and illustration or recent artists drawings which I have seen, my figure shapes change with the trends, from curvy and volumptuous to almost anorexic but remain disproportionate and styalised. I am fascinated by fashion through the ages and also how it is represented and what body type becomes fashionable and why. I frequently read about clothes design from different periods, and see how fashion and trend is cyclical.
